General Responsibilities:
- Coordinator will be responsible for the two centers' institutes (Shatila & Al Burj)
- Participate in the staff recruitment of the project with the Program Manager/ Assistant Program Manager and HR team in coordination with the Operation Manager;
- Ensure that all the staff recruited are well trained, and support them on a technical level when needed;
- Supervise the performance of team members working with children, youth, men and women to deliver language classes;
- Establish and maintain a monthly and weekly work plan with project team which will include weekly monitoring meetings in all locations of implementation;
- Create and update activity plans per activity/program site and communicate the targets, program objectives and activity plans clearly to the team;
- Ensure that all teachers provide weekly lesson plans;
- Collect all lesson plans and provide a monthly report to the center manager;
- Establish and conduct meetings with local stockholders for the benefit of the program;
- Participate in all child protection, and educational working groups conducted by international and local partners;
- Assess trainings needs of the team, and identify suitable trainings conducted by international and local partners for their participation;
Responsibilities with the Protection team:
- Ensure that all the staff recruited are familiar with B&Z’s Code of Conduct and protection standards;
- Ensure quality and minimum child protection standards are implemented and respected in all activities, including the child safeguarding policy;
- Ensure that all the staff are able to identify at-risk cases and refer them to the protection focal point in the center.
- Ensure that all the referral pathways and referral cases are well documented, complying with confidentiality and ethical standards;
Responsibilities with the Monitoring and Evaluation team:
- Ensure that all data related to the project is documented, available and organized upon the request of the program or M&E team.
- Ensure that student's attendance are documented on daily bases.
Responsibilities with the Finance and procurement team:
- Create and update up to date procurement plans and ensure all the materials are ordered and delivered to the staff working in specific locations in a timely manner;
- Ensure that all of the tasks related to the HR, Finance, and logistics are in line with B&Z policies and procedures;
- Maintain the proper filing and archiving of project activities, including periodic computers back-up and legal papers;
Responsibilities with the center manager:
- Ensure that the work plan meets the objectives, targets and timeline of the project through coordinating with operation teams;
- Set and sustain positive partnerships with active actors in the field for the benefit of the program;
- Ensure that all communications with the team are in line with B&Z values;
- Ensure that all communications with beneficiaries, partners, and donors are in line with B&Z values;
- Ensure and sustain positive relationship with the municipalities.
- Attend and active participation in the meetings on administration level in the community center as needed
- Provide positive contribution to B&Z community centre;
- Ensure that all the classes are scheduled according based on clear schedule and suitable timing in coordination with the center manager.
- Ensure that all the targets and number of beneficiaries are met in coordination with the center manager;
- Any other related tasks as per request of the center manager in terms of operations, or the program Manager in terms of technicalities.
- Monitor and manage teacher’s workflow and tasks such as attendance, behavior with students.
- Monitor and evaluate the given curriculums and make necessary adjustments when it's needed.
- Responsible for all admission approvals and consensus.
- Coordinate with the logistics officer regarding all the stationary and related equipment’s.
- Coordinate with other projects coordinators, in terms of providing the best information and courses especially computer science and related fields.
- Coordinate with the internal staff who are working in great Beirut in setting appropriate English and computer courses and sessions.
- The jobholder may be required undertake additional duties, which may be reasonable expected and forms part of the division of the job.
- Measuring the target audience knowledge before and after providing the training course.
- Attracting and retaining new students, by using new and effective promotional methods.
- Develop and update the curriculums based on the beneficiaries’ needs

Experience required: 2 to 3 years
Education degree: Bachelor degree of Business Administration, or any other related field.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Has an excellent experience in using MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, …)
- Excellent experience access to using internet browser, mailing, …
- Good in reading, speaking, & writing English.
