Under the technical supervision of the Protection Program Manager and the supervision of the center coordinator, the case worker will support the project implementation through the following:
Identification, assessment, referral (to relevant services) and follow-up of at-risk children and families through confidential documentation;
Participate in internal case conferences;
Participate in interagency coordination meetings and sector working groups;
Participate in capacity building trainings related to the area of operations and the protection program scope of work;
Regularly follow up on case plans through observation in PSS sessions for both children and adult participants;
Provide information on existing social, educational and health services and how to access them;
Submit monthly reports concerning implemented outreach activities, case observation and identification, referrals, and related challenges;
Maintain files, registers, computer databases and records in soft and hard copies in adherence to the social work code of conduct;
Effectively communicate with center staff members and other team members to ensure proper flow of information;
Ensure a strict adherence to the core humanitarian standards, the principles of child protection and child safeguarding at all times;
In agreement with the Protection Program Manager and the Bekaa Area Manager, perform other required duties in line with skills and experience
