ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Upon review and coordination with the Area Coordinator:
Disseminate information to CH visitors
Act as the primary point of contact for CH visitors
Communicate clear, relevant information regarding services and activities provided at the CH and by the CCP program
Provide information to community members on referral pathways including access to hotline numbers of service providers
Conduct field visits to Refugee settlements nearby for information sharing
Conduct outreach to the refugees residing in the Area on the Communication Hubs and the services provided
Provide referrals for those in need of services not provided within the hubs
Identify vulnerable cases for referral
Assist visitors in accessing information via digital and media devices at the CH
Address questions and inquiries by CH visitors regarding the CH services and activities, and refer questions to RI as necessary
Facilitate implementation of services and activities at the CH:
Assist with the necessary preparations at the CH for activity implementation
Ensure proper implementation of all activities and update the Area Coordinator on proceedings and any updates or changes affecting program outcome
Ensure CHs are well equipped and maintained at all times to prevent interruption of services
Ensure that internet and phone facilities at the CHs are accessible to community members
Liaise with representatives of local organizations, INGOs, government officials, and other actors as necessary to coordinate implementation of activities
Reporting and information management:
Submit daily, weekly, and as-required reports to the Area Coordinator on activities and services of the CH
Provide reliable statistical data on flow of visitors’ situation and its development.
Facilitate the access of complainants to RI’s complaints mechanism
Report maintenance requests for equipment in a timely manner and follow-up on status
Maintain proper filing of relevant documents and archives
Maintain confidentiality of refugee community visitor’s identities and services requested, and adhere to protection principles per RI’s Child Protection and SEA Prevention guidelines
Adhere to the standards of behaviour outlined in RI’s Code of Conduct
Ensure that the activities and services at the CHs are implemented in alignment with CCP program objectives and with policies and standard operating procedures of RI
