JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance Officer Assistant receives his/her tasks from the finance officer and reports directly to him and is responsible for providing supports to the Finance department in financial tasks such as data entry, processing transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Performs three-way match in comparing invoice with purchase order and goods received note before processing any payment.
- Ensures that all documents are complete with the appropriate supporting documents, reviewed and approved before processing for payment.
- Defaces all supporting documents with “PAID” stamp.
- Reviews the supporting documents to ensure that all are complete and filed accordingly.
- Maintains the finance filing system electronically and hard copies.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic operational reports for partners
- Control and monitor the operations and project expenditures and cash flows; prepare the variance analysis report.
- Prepare quarterly spending plans for operations and projects
- Ensures that all financial documents are photocopied monthly.
-Daily follow up with the accountants in the branches.
Office management:
Receives and compiles monthly approved time sheets of staff and sends for Finance officer’s review and onwards submission.
Performs other duties as assigned

3. Experience:
● 1 years’ experience in accounting, finance management.
