Leads the development and implementation of the organization’s strategy for Lebanon’s livelihoods activities, with an emphasis on the sustainability of programs.
Prepares annual or long-term budgets including detailed expenditure plans in collaboration with the Finance Department.
Manages and monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of livelihood programs to ensure impact and sustainability
Liases with the Finance Department to study the financial viability and sustainability of the organization’s livelihoods programs
Manages and assesses the implementation and progress of the Livelihood programs
Follows up on livelihood activities in the field, and ensures that the program is running in accordance with the project objectives and strategies.
Reviews existing livelihoods programs and is responsible for making recommendations and improvements.
Proposes modifications to program based on lessons learned, market studies, and analysis of program.
Provides necessary technical support for conducting needs assessments for livelihood programs
Undertakes frequent field visits to program locations to ensure that all activities are in compliance with the organization’s strategy, project and technical requirements.
Assists with the planning for all of the organization’s livelihood activities
Represents Basmeh & Zeitooneh at interagency coordination meeting for Livelihoods.
Manages and supervises all livelihood staff to ensure project targets and goals are met
Requirements:
Must have a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or any other closely related field.
MBA considered an asset
Must have at least 2 years of experience working in a livelihood program.
