Monitoring And Evaluation Officer

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Basmeh and Zeitooneh will work to develop results based frameworks, as well as strategies for monitoring and evaluating the organization’s programs.   Responsibilities:   Assist Program Managers and Senior Management in the development of systemic and realistic monitoring plans that utilize quantitative and qualitative data to report on project performance indicators.   Develop plans for the monitoring of project activities and progress towards achieving the project’s targets, goals and objectives.   Developing appropriate monitoring and impact indicators to measure the efficacy of programs implemented within the organization.   Designs and implements a monitoring and evaluation framework for proposed projects.   Train staff in using Monitoring and Evaluation tools to ensure that all tools and processes are understood.   Conducts research in order to collect and analyze data for the production of program reports.   Develops a process and tools for data collection, analysis, and reporting for project staff.   Participates in the collection of data through the creation of surveys, as well as organizing focus groups, and interviews with beneficiaries or target communities.   Cooperation with Project Manager in order to create monthly, quarterly, and final reports on findings and lessons learned through data collection and analysis.   Contribute to the development of programs and proposals by developing logical frameworks and measurable indicators.   Contribute to the capacity building of the organization by designing and establish a monitoring and evaluation system and strategy.   Job Requirements:   A Bachelors degree in Development Studies, Business or Public Administration or other related social science field.   A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation tools in non-governmental organizations.   Must be proficient in English AND Arabic.   Experience required:  2 to 3 years   Education degree: Bachelor Degree Field of education: • A Bachelors degree in Development Studies, Business or Public Administration or other related social science field. • A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation tools in non-governmental organizations. • Must be proficient in English AND Arabic.
