Nursery Worker

Basmeh and Zeitooneh is a registered Lebanese organization, committed to serving refugees and vulnerable communities in Lebanon, through four community centers across the country. The organization runs educational, relief, livelihoods, and protection programs, and aims to serve as an inclusive and supportive focal point for the entire community.

Job Purpose: Nursery worker will be responsible for taking care of the children accompanying their parents who attend “Girl Roster” project sessions in Shatila and Borj Al Baajneh centers “One person in each” in Beirut refugees’ Palestinian camps for both Syrian and Palestinian beneficiaries for a period of 4 months, starting June 2021 till September 2021.

Major Activities : 

• Arranging fine arts and recreational activities for children until their parents finish the attended session.
• Physical activities in the allocated room.
• Brief report on each working day highlighting challenges and successes. 
• To immediately report on abnormal acts by children to the direct line manager, especially protection-related concerns.
• To cover in the other center, in case the nursery worker was absent there.
• Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line manager.
