Outreach Officer - Beirut

Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify potential beneficiaries to the relevant project as per the set criteria
• Conduct outreach and community dialogue activities
• Support other team members in conducting a needs assessment
• Make regular visits to stakeholders (municipalities, unions of municipalities, communities, etc.) to assess the needs of the SMEs targeted by the project
• File and archive specific forms for referrals and weekly reporting are taking place while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness
• Monitor the daily ongoing activities
• Coordinate with other staff of the project
• Raise beneficiaries’ concerns and report weekly to the project manager
• Other tasks as directed by the Project Manager.

Education, Experience, and Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar related job.
• A bachelor degree with years of experience in fields of social work, economics, human resources, marketing, and/or other relevant fields
• Strong experience in outreach and recruitment
• Excellent reporting, communication, interpersonal skills, and pro-active negotiation skills
• Have skills in working with people of all ages and social groups
• Skilled at working with local communities and authorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with thorough knowledge of Arabic and English
• Availability and willingness to work outside regular office hours occasionally
