Outreach Officer - Tripoli

Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify potential beneficiaries to the relevant project as per the set criteria (including vulnerable Lebanese and Syrian beneficiaries, etc.)
• Conduct outreach and community dialogue activities
• Assist in social assessment
• Make regular visits to stakeholders (municipalities, unions of municipalities, communities, etc.) to assess the needs of the beneficiaries targeted by the project
• Conduct support groups and committee meetings and participate in community forums
• File and archive specific forms and weekly reporting are taking place while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor the daily ongoing activities
• Coordinate with other staff members of the project
• Raise beneficiaries’ concerns and report weekly to the coordinator
  
  Other tasks as directed by the project director

Education, Experience and Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar related job.
• A bachelor degree with experience in fields of social work, agriculture, economics, marketing, and/or other relevant fields
• Strong experience in outreach
• Excellent reporting, communication, interpersonal skills and pro-active negotiation skills
• Have skills in working with people of all ages and groups
• Skilled at working with local communities and authorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with thorough knowledge of Arabic and English
• Availability and willingness to work outside regular office hours occasionally
• Living in relevant governorate (North)
