Partnerships Officer

Role and Responsibilities works with management and staff to develop and finalize grant proposals; Supports project managers and other members of management with drafting donor reports as requested  Manages communications with donors, partners, and other 3rd parties regarding the organization’s work Develops new partnerships and coordinating grant opportunities by meeting with donors, attending coordination meetings, and other relevant networking events as indicated by management. Provides minutes of meetings to Chief Development Officer and other relevant staff Translation of documents from Arabic to English and vice-versa, as required by management Provides support to the Chief Development Officer in the creation of management tools, drafting of communication materials, as well as policies and procedures Prepares responses to requests from donors, governmental organizations, the media, and the public regarding the organization’s activities Prepares and Coordinates planning and kick-off meetings for grants, under the supervision of line manager.   Skills Required:  Superior communication skills  Capability to multi-task Advanced organizational skills Ability to analyze data Ability to think critically. Education: Degree in Social Sciences (International relations/political science/communications) or any other related discipline. Minimum of 2 years working in a reputable non-governmental organizations Minimum of 1 year of experience in grant-writing
