Small Grants Project Coordinator

Planning, organizing and coordinating the small grants programming activities and day-to-day                operations. Maintaining and monitoring the small grants project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures. Developing Project strategies and determining project changes. Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings, donor’s meetings, staff meetings and any essential meeting. Collaborating with the Programs departments in writing proposals, reports and concept notes for the small grants new projects. Providing administrative support as needed. Preparing monthly reports, mid and final reports and annual reports as requested. Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. Coordinating with finance and procurement departments regarding purchase requests and orders.   Following up with the monitoring and evaluation department to oversee the projects goals and objectives, attendance of the participants and regular meetings. Preparing necessary presentation materials for entrepreneurial trainings. Ensuring project deadlines are met. Assessing project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable. Collaborating with the HR Department in setting Small grants team Job description and attending Job interviews when necessary. Creating a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective. Meeting cost standards by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving actions. Keeping all members of the team up-to-date with current information and paperwork. Communicating with team members to ensure optimal strategy and maximum efficiency. Accomplishing work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and coaching employees. curriculum development, motivation, update, etc Skills: Performance Management, Project Management, Supervision, Quality Management, Tracking Budget Expenses, Results Driven, Delegation, Time Management, Proactive, High Communication skills. Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge file management, transcription and other administrative procedures. Ability to work on tight deadlines. Fluent in English (reading & writing).
