Social Worker (Bekaa Valley)

Role and Responsibilities Conducts awareness and psychosocial support sessions for vulnerable female and child refugees. Conducts assessments of families, individuals, and households to determine the best course of action Provides support to female and child refugees experiencing abuse, trauma, or difficulty coping to their lives as  refugees Consults, assesses, coordinates and implements a plan for intervention to ensure the psychological, social, and physical well-being of female and child refugees. Provides case management and referrals to specialized organizations in escalating cases. Acts as a liason between refugees and organizations specializing in social issues Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with adequate computer and research skills Must have strong ability to maintain interpersonal relationships Friendly, with strong communication and listening skills Successful in leading teams, and motivating them Must be Fluent in Arabic and English Must have personal qualities such as: a strong commitment to integrity, respect for privacy, and the ability to inspire others
