Social Worker-Burj Al Barajneh

Under the technical supervision of the Protection Program Manager and the supervision of the Beirut Area Manager, the social worker will support the project implementation through the following tasks in B&Z community center in Burj Al Barajneh   •Conducts awareness and psychosocial support sessions for vulnerable female and youth community members •Consult, assess, coordinate and implement a plan for intervention to ensure the psychological, social, and physical well-being of the refugee and host community members through confidential documentation •Provide case management and referrals to specialized organizations and health facilities as well as legal and education service providers •Participate in interagency coordination meetings and sector working groups •Participate in capacity building trainings related to the area of operations and the protection program scope of work •Provide information on existing social, educational and health services and how to access them within the area of residence of the service-seekers •Submit monthly reports concerning implemented outreach activities, case observation and identification, referrals, focal points meetings and related challenges   Starting date: 1/1/2017   Qualifications: degree in social work , minimum 1 year experience working on syria crisis context or relevant field work.    Good team player, positive attitude and communication skills are desirable.    Computer literacy is a must including excel and word literacy.    Command of the English and Arabic language, both written and spoken, is a must.
