Job Purpose: 

The Student Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the non-formal education program. Responsible for various tasks, the Student Supervisor ensures smooth operations, promotes student attendance, and assists in delivering quality education to all learners. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing inclusive education opportunities.

Major Activities:

• Maintains and respects the confidentiality of student and school personnel information.
• Supports the Project Coordinator in Registering Children in the education programs, supports with data entry
• Ensure teachers adhere to the child protection policy, and inform the PC of any defects.
• Facilitate the delivery of the education process.
• Ensure that all sessions are delivered to a high standard and meet the needs of teachers, pupils, and the organization's requirements.
• Responsible for the safety of students on the stairs and during breaks.
• Ensure that the delivery of education is evaluated thoroughly, following evaluation procedures as directed by the PC.
• Close cooperation with the protection team.
• Follow up on the attendance of students and teachers in online learning groups, and inform the PC of any delay or defect.
• Entering student registration information and attendance data in in-person/online education into the database.
• Updating and reporting the database to the MEAL department on a monthly basis.
• Close cooperation with the DE assistant and the IT assistant.
• Ensure that students and teachers come to class on time, and inform the PC of any delays.
• Collecting student attendance sheets from teachers.
• Ensure all legal requirements are adhered to, including Health and Safety, Risk Assessments, Child Protection, and Insurance.
• Follow up on the attendance of students and communicate with parents as needed.
• Maintains discipline and classroom control that fosters a safe and positive learning environment for all students and staff in accordance with school and county policies
• Ensures adequate supervision to assure the health, welfare, and safety of all students
• Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities
• Reports all student injuries, accidents, illnesses, and discipline problems to the PC immediately or as soon as is reasonably possible.
• Receiving and following up on technical problems sent by students through online learning groups and referring them to the relevant department.
• Ensures that all students leave the classroom before leaving the building.
• Returns instructional materials, equipment, and keys to the proper place
• Performs other related duties in accordance with school/state policies and practices.
