About this Role

We are actively searching for a Program Manager to manage and grow our professional skills training and entrepreneurship programs. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and people skills. 

Key Responsibilities

The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that Bedayati’s skills training programs are effectively implemented and managed. S/he will work under the direct supervision of the Chair of the Board.

Project Management:

• Lead the effective management and timely implementation of program activities and skills trainings, including identifying, sourcing, and coordinating the necessary technical expertise and support, to ensure achievement of results and delivery of outputs and activities, as per relevant project document(s);
• Develop effective student recruitment strategies and actively follow up with trainees to track progress;
• Develop and maintain internal monitoring and operational plans to rigorously track program implementation progress against the annual work plan and key targets.
• Actively manage Bedayati’s Learning Management System, developing a strategy for the LMS to ensure optimal utility for program participants. 
• Financial Management & Compliance:
• Monitor financial resources and accounting of all project activities with the finance team to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial reports;
• Ensure adherence of activities to Bedayati financial, procurement and administrative processes and regulations, whilst also ensuring compliance with respective donor rules and regulations;
• Coordinate the procurement of relevant equipment/materials as required for program activities, following Bedayati procurement policies;
• Ensure that Bedayati’s core values and guidelines are effectively reflected in all project activities and team actions.

Business Development and Labour Market Research:                                                                                                         

• Design new concept notes and project proposals in line with Bedayati’s strategy and program objectives;
• Conduct and utilize Labour Market Research to identify emerging needs, new subjects, disciplines, and in-demand skill sets required by local employers.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to strategically review and update the course offering based on market needs and assessment findings.
• Develop and implement a new, demand-driven calendar of workshops and training seminars.
• Formulate strategies to promote and monetize the newly created LMS initiative, exploring potential revenue streams and partnerships.
• Proactively engage with potential employers to showcase Bedayati’s graduates and secure internships and job placements, building a robust employer network.

Required Education, Skills & Experience:

• A university degree or equivalent in the social sciences, business or relevant field;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management, programme/project coordination, and monitoring in the development space;
• Background/strong interest in either of Bedayati’s sectoral focus areas (tech and culinary) a plus;
• Excellent written and oral Arabic and English skills. Knowledge of French is an asset;
• Excellent English writing skills;
• Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, deadlines and budgetary guidelines;
• Good teamwork skills and ability to manage a team;
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and networking skills;
• Strong work ethic, a commitment to work excellence, and adherence to Bedayati core values;
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
