This capacity-building field school is organized by Beirut Heritage Initiative and DISTRUCT Solutions in Beirut.
It aims to provide hands-on training and professional development opportunities for young architects and engineers seeking to specialize in traditional reconstruction techniques. The program covers the restoration of sandstone walls, arches and roof reconstruction of a Heritage building affected by the blast of August 4, 2020, under the guidance of structural engineers specialized in the field of restoration.
The ideal candidate is passionate about restoration and heritage preservation, and have a desire to expand his/her skills in this field.
