Physiotherapist

• Prepare a physical assessment of each resident, in collaboration with their physician, to determine the main areas of focus.
• Establish a customized treatment plan for each resident to allow them to remain as physically fit and active as possible.
• Perform continuous evaluation of the residents’ condition and report any changes or progress. 
• Help residents accomplish treatment plan by using a variety of methods including, exercises, stretching manoeuvres, hands on therapy and equipment to improve strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and prepare reports as needed.
• Conduct group activity sessions with the residents.
• Work in a cooperative manner with co-workers demonstrating respect, trust and support.
• Proactively identifies and communicates operational issues that can impact clinical practice.
• Demonstrates a commitment to continued learning and stay up to date with the latest technologies, techniques and studies.
• Preform ergonomic training for the staff when needed.
• Keeping the physical therapy centre and equipment clean and in a good condition.
