Your main tasks:
- You are responsible for the setup, design and implementation of dialogue activities in Lebanon (relating to service provision, social cohesion, vision-building, substantive reform options)
- You conceptualize and co-facilitate multi-stakeholder dialogue processes
- You maintain regular close consultations with Lebanese stakeholders and partners
- You contribute to conflict analysis, monitor and analyse the conflict dynamics and trends in Lebanon
- You ensure successful implementation of the project, its different workstreams and activities
- You take responsibility for and guide junior staff in their contribution to the project implementation as well as in the organization and logistical arrangements for all project activities
- You draft donor reports, concept notes, project proposals and ensure that a consolidated plan for the entire project cycle incl. financial calculations is in place
- You closely coordinate and cooperate with inhouse-crosscutting roles and fulfill additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Unit MENA and/or Head of Department
- Frequent travel inside Lebanon and occasional travel in MENA and to Germany is required
Your knowledge, experience & skills:
- You hold a Master degree within relevant field such as Peace and Conflict Studies, Political Science, International Relations or similar
- You have more than 7 years of relevant work experience (project management/regional expertise)
- You contribute expertise and regional experience on Lebanon and the Middle East
- Excellent verbal and written language skills in Arabic and English are required
- Professional skills in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Teams) complete your profile
