The Consultant is expected to fulfill, but not limited to the following:
- Incorporating the principles of processes and strategies and assisting the companies in developing SMART goals for the strategy.
- Introducing market analysis techniques and incorporate the principle of market analytics.
- Providing the company with insider information about the product market.
- Introducing the concept of innovation and its different types and correlating it to business development at the level of the company.
- Assessing the company’s expansion potential and assisting it in selecting new and unexplored markets locally and regionally.
- Assisting in exploring the company’s cost savings areas.
- Identifying all potential strategic alliances and partnerships at the local level and assisting in strategically nurturing prospects in that scope.
As part of the program’s Monitoring and Evaluation (ME&L) processes, the consultant is required to:
- Deliver a briefing report to the program’s team.
- Attending check-ins short meetings, if needed and required by the program’s team
- Attending MEL induction meeting before the beginning of the session.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or any related field. MS/MA is a plus.
- Proven experience of working on a similar project is a must.
- At least 10 years of experience in consulting on business development.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
The selected Consultant is expected to start his/her activities at the soonest after selection; the exact timeline and effective working days are to be set based on both the company’s and the Consultant’s availability.
Candidates should submit the following documents:
- Technical (maximum two pages) describing the methodology to conduct the work based on the content suggested in section: “Scope of Work, Outputs, and Deliverables” elaborating it further.
- Profile and project references (maximum two pages): A brief explanation of the consultant(s) background should be submitted (CVs shall be included as annex) along with project references on the topic.
- Financial Proposal describing the expected renumeration and the proposed timeframe of the intervention.
