Call for a Digital Marketing and Growth Hacking consultant – REAF Program

Context & Background

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.    

The Rural Entrepreneurs in Agri-Food (REAF) program aims at strengthening the business and product viability of innovative startups tackling sustainable rural economic development operating in South Mount Lebanon, Central and West Bekaa, Southern Baalbeck and Hasbaya. The program will provide the startups with tools to transform their ideas into sustainable and profitable businesses. REAF’s youth training will enhance their entrepreneurship mentality and entry into the job market.   

The Accelerator Program's mission is to nurture and grow disruptive ideas, proof of concepts, and prototypes that share three common characteristics:   

  1. A disruptive scientific or technological focus in agri-food, circular economy, sustainable agriculture, waste management and valorization.   
  1. The possibility to scale in the local market and beyond that.   
  1. The potential to create sustainable job opportunities locally.   
OBJECTIVES
  • Assist startups (11 in this cohort) in understanding and implementing digital marketing and growth hacking strategies.
  • Equip startups with essential digital marketing skills.
  • Introduce effective growth hacking strategies.
  • Provide hands-on experience through interactive workshop and offer personalized guidance via 1 on 1 mentoring sessions
  • Set an action plan for the digital marketing and growth hacking strategies of each startup
Scope of work

The REAF Program seeks a Digital Marketing and Growth Hacking Expert to deliver the following requirements:

  • Conduct a workshop to equip the 11 participating startups with foundational knowledge and practical skills in digital marketing and growth hacking.
  • Provide mentoring sessions (60 minutes each) to each of the 11 startups, to provide personalized guidance and support in implementing digital marketing and growth hacking strategies.
  • Assist startups in developing tailored digital marketing and growth hacking plans that align with their business goals and target audience.
  • Mentor the beneficiaries on identifying and prioritizing cost-effective digital channels for early-stage startups (e.g., social media, email marketing, content marketing, SEO) to maximize visibility, engagement, and conversions with available resources.
  • Advise startups on designing and running lean marketing experiments to test, measure, and scale the most effective tactics that contribute to business growth and digital footprint expansion.
  • Conduct pre-engagement and post-engagement briefings with the Berytech team to align objectives and assess outcomes.
  • Provide written feedback on every startup's performance and Digital Marketing and Growth Hacking strategy.
expected Deliverables
  • Conduct a workshop on digital marketing and growth hacking for the 11 participating startups
  • Provide a minimum of 11 and a maximum of 22 hours of one-on-one clinics to the startups, with a distribution of hours to be agreed upon, addressing their individual challenges and guiding them in implementing effective digital marketing and growth hacking strategies.
  • Assist startups in developing comprehensive digital marketing and growth hacking plans, including:
    • Online presence and brand management principles
    • Actionable tactics to boost awareness around the brand and product
    • Measurable goals for digital marketing efforts.
  • Provide comprehensive content and materials that will be used by the entrepreneurs after attending the workshop. These materials will include detailed information presented during the workshop, additional readings for the startup to research and understand the topic more, suggested links and sources on the topic...etc. All these materials should be uploaded in coordination with the Berytech team to make them accessible for startups.     
  • Conduct preparatory meetings with the Berytech Team to align the content of the workshop as well as the approaches and responsibilities under this agreement. 
  • Submit a written report to the Berytech team outlining the progress and status of each startup, including recommendations for further improvement. 
Qualifications

The Digital Marketing and Growth Hacking Expert should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience and expertise in digital marketing and growth hacking, with a focus on training for startups or early-stage businesses.
  • In-depth knowledge of various digital marketing channels and growth hacking techniques, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, CRO, and marketing automation.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns that have resulted in measurable business growth for startups.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed marketing decisions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex concepts and strategies to startup founders.

Your financial proposal should include a lump sum fee for the workshop and an hourly rate for the 1on1 clinics.
