About Euromed Clusters Forward:
Euromed Clusters Forward is a 4-year project that aims at establishing and improving clusters legal policies, strengthening clusters capacity & regional cooperation, and strengthening regional value chains. Berytech is the implementing partner of Euromed Clusters Forward in Lebanon, that is funded by the European Union and coordinated by Anima Investment Network with 3 implementing partners and 9 affiliates from the Euromed region.
About Cluster Booster:
Cluster Booster is a technical assistance activity under the Euromed Clusters Forward led by Berytech. It aims at strengthening the skills of cluster managers, staff, and SME members in the South Mediterranean region. This 18-month program offers training and technical help to help clusters grow and succeed.
Key focuses include developing strategies to attract new members; scaling-up their business performances and enhancing technological and innovation capabilities to foster North-South Mediterranean collaboration.
Cluster Overview:
A Lebanese agrifood cluster with 120 members, of whom 90 are active, founded 6 years ago. Its core objective is to bring Lebanese agrifood industries on par with the most innovative economies in the world, thus making Lebanon’s flag fly higher on the world food innovation and trade map. Besides strengthening technical prowess and nurturing a culture of collaboration and mutual exchange within the Lebanese agrifood sector, the cluster is constantly at work to bring international opportunities to the innovative enterprises that are part of our cluster.
Scope of workThe Executive Innovation Academy (EIA), a flagship program supported by QOOT, aims to empower executive-level professionals with innovation leadership skills. To enhance its reach and impact, EIA seeks a dedicated Marketing Consultant to develop and implement a robust Marketing & Branding Strategy for the next 3 years:
- Positioning within QOOT Ecosystem to frame EIA as a flagship initiative within QOOT’s broader innovation platform, and ensure alignment and reinforce its strategic value.
- Cross-Promotion with AFIA: The strategy should include provisions to cross-promote the Agri-Food Innovation Award (AFIA), leveraging shared themes, audiences, and visibility opportunities.
Scope of Work
The consultant will be responsible for the following:
A. EIA Strategy Development
- Meet with the Cluster representatives to align on the vision, mission and objectives of the academy and discuss the cluster’s expectations.
- Develop Marketing & Branding Strategy for the EIA, including:
- Target audience identification and segmentation
- Value proposition and key messaging
- Multi-channel marketing approach (including online and offline channels)
- Visual identity and collateral design guidelines
- Social media strategy and content plan
- Roadshow plans and event participation strategy
B. Strategy Implementation
- Execute the approved strategy in collaboration with the QOOT team, including:
- Content creation and campaign roll-out across selected platforms
- Coordination and support for roadshows and event presence
- Design and production of marketing materials
- Continuous monitoring of campaign performance
- Consider integrating a focused outreach plan to engage key ecosystem players—academia, embassies, donors—as potential partners or amplifiers.
- Suggest defining key indicators (e.g., lead conversion, engagement per channel) to measure campaign effectiveness and guide future iterations.
C. Handover
- Develop a toolkit and operational plan for QOOT to independently manage future campaigns.
- Ensure that all developed materials (content, visuals, templates) are modular and reusable for future cohorts and other cluster initiatives, improving cost-efficiency over time.
- Deliver all finalized and editable marketing materials, templates, and documentation for future use.
- A marketing & Branding Strategy document.
- Marketing content, visuals, and campaign materials (digital and print).
- Implementation reports with metrics and insights.
- Final handover package including editable templates, content calendars, and a training session.
The total number of working days allocated for this consultancy is set at 3 months.
July 1st - Organizing the kick-off meeting with the cluster
July 2025 – Strategy Development
August 2025 - Strategy Finalization & Initial Implementation
September 2025 - Continued Implementation & Handover
Qualifications- Proven experience in marketing strategy development and execution, preferably in innovation-focused initiatives.
- Strong creative and content development capabilities.
- Strong portfolio in marketing strategies and branding design and implementation.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
