Context & Background  

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.  

Program Background

Strengthening the Socio-economic resilience of vulnerable groups in Bekaa and Mount Lebanon 
The Program aims to strengthen the business and product viability of Agri-food start-ups while identifying subsector actors in the targeted areas. The Program also focuses on the societal impact by providing business incubation and training to vulnerable youth. The incubation phases will create direct jobs with the selected start-ups and employ youth from the community it serves. The youth training and capacity building will incorporate a substantial target for women and community members with disabilities.

Scope of Work:

• Predefine the assessment approach
• Identify area and target group parameters
• Set specific KPIs and overall outcomes

Deliverables:

• Work plan
• Quantitative & qualitative assessment report
• Clear presentation of the findings
• Recommendations for outreach and program implementation
• Propose a list of insightful and useful relevant stakeholders in each targeted area
• Build upon previously conducted assessments if any; showcase the viability of your assessment approach.
• Assess the political, economic, and security situation and their likelihood; recommend mitigation plans.
• Validate the accuracy of figures through varying means of verification.
• Maintain and compile records; develop a user-friendly manual exhibiting overall assessment results and recommendations.

• Assess the capacity of selected partners and recommend tailor-made training topics

Required Qualifications:

- BA degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business, or any related discipline. 
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar field.
- Fluent in Arabic and full professional proficiency in English.
