GROWTH AND SCALING UP STRATEGY CONSULTANCY - ScaleSmart Program

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

The ScaleSmart program aims to support pre-seed or seed startups working in different sectors to scale up by equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to plan a solid fundraising path, matching them with investors and investment opportunities, and improving their chances of successfully raising funds.

The ScaleSmart program seeks a business strategy consultant to assist scaleups in setting and refining their growth and scaleup plan. The engagement includes one-on-one sessions with the startups for tailored guidance over the duration of 4 months to support on the following:

1. Conducting a thorough analysis of the company's current business plan and operations, to identify weakness areas of improvement and potential growth opportunities.
2. Developing a growth and scaling up strategy that addresses the company’s weaknesses and outlines specific goals, action plans, and timelines for achieving the company's objectives.
3. Providing guidance and support to the internal team to ensure effective implementation of the growth and scale-up strategy, including identifying and leveraging key partnerships and resources.
4. Defining the success metrics of the growth and scale-up strategy using key performance indicators relevant to the sector such as revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction, etc. (as relevant).

Deliverables

1. A detailed report outlining the results of the analysis and the recommended growth and scale-up strategy, including specific goals, action plans, and timelines.
2. Monitoring and evaluation reports that include recommendations for potential adjustments to the growth strategy based on key performance indicators relevant to the company's objectives.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy advisory, developing and executing successful growth and scaling up strategies for companies. Preferably with experience working with startups.
