Sustainable Assessment – ACT SMART INNOVATION HUB STARTUPS

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

The Accelerator Program's mission is to nurture and grow disruptive ideas, proof of concepts, and prototypes that share three common characteristics:

1. A disruptive scientific or technological focus in the agri-food sector.
2. The possibility to scale beyond the local market
3. The potential to create sustainable job opportunities locally

The Accelerator Program seeks a sustainable assessment Trainer to deliver the following requirements:

• To help the startups calculate carbon footprint, reduction in the generation of waste and any other environmental impact related to the startup environmental impact
• Provide simplified calculation tools and tailored expertise to help calculate the life cycle environmental performance of their products or organization
• Explore environmental certification opportunities

• Deliver a two-hour Power Session for Cleanergy Startups at a date to be agreed on
• Deliver a total of 20 of one-on-one one-hour long clinics (2 clinics for each of the 10 startups)

   

• Degree in Environmental engineering, environmental science or any related field.
• Demonstratable knowledge of the various fields related to sustainable assessment but not limited to carbon footprint, Carbon footprint, Waste management, Ecological footprint.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a sustainability/energy consultant or related position
