Website Development Expert- Natura Spoon- Food System Challenge

For that purpose, Berytech is seeking to hire consultants that will be able to support NATURA Spoon in developing an informative website and improve the online presence of the Natura Spoon brand as per the scope of the interventions mentioned below. Natura Spoon is Lebanese baby food brand. puree jars which entail puree products from fresh and residue-free fruits & veggies, without any additives or any other preservatives.

Scope of work and Deliverables

The Consultant is expected to fulfill the following in addition to any other task required:

  1. Website Strategy and Planning:
    • Conduct a thorough analysis of Natura's brand, target audience, and goals to develop a website strategy that aligns with the company's objectives.
    • Identify the key functionalities, content requirements, and user experience considerations for the informative website.
  2. Website Design and Development:
    • Create a visually appealing and user-friendly website design that reflects Natura's brand identity and engages the target audience.
    • Develop a responsive website using modern web development technologies and best practices to ensure compatibility across different devices and browsers.
  3. Content Creation and Optimization:
    • Collaborate with Natura to create compelling and informative content for the website, including product descriptions, company information, and other relevant sections.
    • Optimize the website content for search engines (SEO) to improve online visibility and organic traffic.
  4. User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design:
    • Ensure an intuitive and seamless user experience through effective navigation, clear call-to-actions, and user-friendly interface design.
    • Conduct usability testing and implement user feedback to optimize the website's usability and overall user experience.
  5. Integration and Functionality:
    • Integrate necessary functionalities and features into the website, such as contact forms, newsletter subscriptions, social media integration, and interactive elements to enhance user engagement.
  6. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
    • Implement on-page SEO techniques, including keyword optimization, meta tags, and URL structure, to improve search engine rankings and organic visibility.
    • Provide recommendations for ongoing SEO strategies to enhance the website's online presence and visibility.

Deliverables:

  1. Website Strategy and Planning Document:
    • A comprehensive document outlining the website strategy, objectives, target audience, and content requirements.
  2. Website Design and Development:
    • Creation of a visually appealing and user-friendly website design, developed and tested across different devices and browsers.
  3. Website Content:
    • Creation and optimization of informative and engaging content for the website, aligned with Natura's brand and target audience.
  4. User Experience and User Interface Design:
    • User-friendly and intuitive website interface design, ensuring seamless navigation and clear call-to-actions.
  5. Integrated Functionality:
    • Integration of necessary website functionalities and features to enhance user engagement and interaction.
  6. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Implementation:
    • On-page SEO techniques implemented to optimize the website for search engines and improve organic visibility.

As part of the program’s Monitoring and Evaluation (ME&L) processes, the consultant is required to:

  • Deliver a briefing report to the program’s team.
  • Attending check-ins short meetings, if needed and required by the program’s team
  • Attending MEL induction meeting before the beginning of the session if requested by the program’s team
  • Conducting pre-post assessment, feedback and attendance as requested by the program team

The consultant will provide these deliverables within the specified intervention period after working closely with the company to develop an informative website and improve the online presence of the Natura brand.

As part of the program’s Monitoring and Evaluation (ME&L) processes, the consultant is required to:

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, MSc Degree in web design, web development, graphic design, digital marketing, and any other relevant field.  
  • At least 15 years of experience in similar projects.
  • Excellent communications and report writing skills.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic

How to Apply

The selected Consultant is expected to start his/her activities at the soonest after selection; the exact timeline and effective working days are to be set based on both the company’s and the Consultant’s availability not exceeding the end of November 2023. The total budget allocated for the intervention is within the range of USD 300/man-day.

Candidates should submit the following documents:

  • Technical (maximum two pages) describing the methodology to conduct the work based on the content suggested in section: “Scope of Work, Outputs, and Deliverables” elaborating it further.
  • Profile and project references (maximum two pages): A brief explanation of the consultant(s) background should be submitted (CVs shall be included as annex) along with project references on the topic.
  • Financial Proposal describing the expected renumeration and the proposed timeline and Days of intervention.

General Conditions: This is a Request for Proposal only. Issuance of this RFQ does not in any way obligate Berytech, the Food System Challenge Project, or WFP to make an award or pay for costs incurred by potential offerors in the preparation and submission of an offer.
