Community Outreach Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement community outreach strategies and activities to engage and educate community members and stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with community members, local organizations, and other stakeholders. • Represent the organization in community meetings, events, and other activities.

• Promote the organization's programs and services to the community through outreach activities, including presentations, workshops, and other events. • Identify and collaborate with community leaders and organizations to leverage resources and build partnerships.

• Provide regular reports to the management team on outreach activities and their impact on the community.

• Develop and maintain a database of community contacts, partners, and resources.

• Ensure that all outreach activities are conducted in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner.

• Assist with the development and implementation of communications materials, including flyers, brochures, and social media content.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as community development, social work, or public relations.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in community outreach, community development, or related field.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people and communicate in Arabic and English.

• Knowledge of community development principles and practices.

• Experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and social media platforms effectively.

• Demonstrated commitment to social justice and community empowerment.

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate should be based in Krantina or familiar with the region.
