Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and assess monitoring frameworks and logframs for all Borderless' partnerships and projects.
- Develop the overall framework for project M&E systems in collaboration with Project Managers, including requirements, reporting, baseline, and evaluation surveys.
- Ensure the alignment of M&E activities with program goals.
- Maintain existing indicator tracking tools; develop additional databases and tracking tools as needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of project interventions
- Ensure adherence to specific monitoring and reporting requirements.
- Analyze data for accuracy, flag validation or quality issues, and contribute to system fixes. Ensure quality of data through data verification procedures, including routine data quality audits.
- Create and integrate graphics in reports and information products to help visualize data in a meaningful way;
- Edit content and presentation of all reporting and deliverables before submittal to ensure superior quality and professionalism in collaboration with the projects’ managers;
- Contribute to developing and reporting of project reviews, assessments, surveys, and other analytic or evaluation processes and products;
- Conduct field visits for data validation and to monitor the quality and completeness of data sets; coordinate data collection at project sites to monitor program development and ensure timely compilation and reporting of data; capture and document lessons learned.
- Support the operations field team in their role to collect and enter data from participants through adequate database and surveys.
- Provide advice and expertise on program and project implementation, including strategic, administrative, and logistical support when needed;
- Familiar with core principles of Children and Human Rights, Participation, Do No Harm, Community, and Family.
- Actively participate in implementation and coordination meetings, including inter-agency meetings.
- Lead on M&E work plans, and targets during the drafting donor project proposals as well as throughout project implementation and offer support on the establishment of concept notes, proposals and logframes.
- Report and update on activity info the targets and numbers of all Borderless projects.
Experience and technical competencies:
- At least 3 years of professional practice in results-based management, monitoring, evaluation, analysis, and research.
- Experience in working with NGOs/humanitarian agencies in Lebanon or the MENA region
Education, Languages and Skills:
- A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Studies, Economics or equivalent will be an added advantage. Advanced training in quantitative methodologies, including database management will be strong added advantage.
- Computer proficiency in word processing, Power Point, database, spreadsheet, Excel and graphics presentations, including one or more of the following programs: MS Access, GIS, Kobo Collect, Statistical programming skills and other internet applications.
