Short-Term Consultants

The British Council is currently seeking to identify short term experts to provide short duration consultancy on Technical Assistance Youth project. The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the institutional reform process for a better involvement of Government and Civil Society organisations in the public policy making process for youth development in Lebanon. The purpose of this project is to enhance the capacities of the relevant public institutions and other relevant stakeholders to become more engaged in addressing youth concerns, needs and ambitions in accordance with the National Youth Policy. Experts in one (or more) of the following domains are highly encouraged to apply: Corporate Performance management/ measurement Preparing policy briefs Accountability mechanism and Youth participation in governance Advocacy and lobbying M&E and impact assessment Coalition building Research, analysis and evidence on youth policy Knowledge management and knowledge sharing Team building Minimum Criteria  A minimum of 5 years of general professional experience working on relevant Youth Policy issues, institutional development, working with government institutions (Ministries, public institutions) Excellent report writing skills Fluency in Arabic and English both in writing and speaking  Interested candidates are kindly request to send their CV in this format along with a cover letter highlighting their area of expertise and an average daily rate, to the email: job.vacancy@lb.britishcouncil.org with the subject line: “Short Term Expert – Youth Project”.
