This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of projects currently in the pipeline. We will be shortlisting and conducting interviews now, with recruitment proceeding once the project(s) are secured.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Implementation:
- Assist the Executive Director in the development and execution of project plans, including setting timelines, work plans, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Help prepare project documentation, including work plans, progress reports, and supporting materials.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including regular donor reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with donor requirements.
- Collect, compile, and analyze data from project activities to contribute to narrative reports.
- Coordination with Stakeholders:
- Serve as a liaison between the project team, beneficiaries, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions with project beneficiaries and local partners.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Track project progress against established timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Support the implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks to assess project impact and effectiveness.
- Conduct field visits to monitor project activities and gather feedback from beneficiaries.
- Procurement and Budget Management:
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services in accordance with donor and organizational policies.
- Support the management of project budgets, including tracking expenses and preparing financial reports.
- Capacity Building and Support:
- Support capacity-building initiatives for staff, beneficiaries, and local partners, including organizing training sessions and providing on-the-job coaching.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and resources.
- General Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project files, and preparing correspondence.
- Ensure all project documentation is well-organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Perform Other Duties as Assigned:
- Carry out any additional tasks as required to support the successful implementation of projects.

• Experience: at least 4 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role, within an NGO or international development setting. Experience with donor-funded projects is highly desirable.
• Skills:
o Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
o Familiarity with procurement processes and donor regulations.
o Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
o Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
o Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with international donors (e.g., USAID, EU, UN, World Bank).
• Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of local languages and cultural context.
