CARE International Office in Beirut is seeking for a quotation hiring a Service Provider for performing the job of Social Kitchen Training for kitchens from Tripoli and Mount Lebanon.
CARE is aiming to provide business service delivery training to clusters of social kitchens from Tripoli and Mount Lebanon. The training needs to cover topics associated but not limited to: Kitchen Leadership, Marketing & Sales Strategy, Menu Development & Recipe Standardization, & Communication Strategies.

Business Development Service Training – Social Kitchens
Background Information
With the support of the Madad Trust Fund, and under the Regional Resilience and Livelihoods Program for Syrian refugees and host communities, the LEADERS Consortium (composed of ACTED, Danish Refugee Council, CARE, Oxfam and Save the Children) aims to contribute to the economic self-reliance, resilience and social stability of displacement-affected populations in Jordan and Lebanon as prioritized by the Regional Refugee and Resilience Plan (3RP). The Program aims at working towards enhancing economic stability of all displaced and displacement affected populations. The intervention targets 250,000 individuals in Jordan and Lebanon, including:
Scope of Work
Under this project, CARE is accountable to provide support to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to innovate and scale –up market potential through providing them with business development services which aim at enhancing the structure, capacity and quality of their services.
Target & Geographical Focus
The target of this training are social kitchens from Tripoli and Mount Lebanon. The trainings location will be in either of these locations. The training will include 7-10 kitchens.
The Training

Coaching Sessions
CARE is aiming to support the kitchens with on the job coaching sessions. These coaching sessions are aimed at providing customized consultation and follow up to each kitchen with focus on the trained areas. The trainer is anticipated to assess the areas of improvement of each kitchen and develop in participatory approach a work action plan for the kitchen.
Methodology
The Training will include a one day plenary session that includes the service delivery of the key topics reflected above followed with three half day on the job coaching for each kitchen.

Profile
Professional experience Documented experience in business delivery and providing trainings Relevant experience in Food Science and Restaurant Management Field Experience with vulnerable communities Required qualities Good facilitations skills and has ability to engage with a wide variety of audiences from diverse backgrounds Good analytical and reporting skills Ability to present information in a succinct and compelling manner for none technical staff Good Command of Arabic & English, knowledge of Armenian would be preferred.

Duration: 4 Months (Coaching sessions to be implemented on a monthly base)
