Budget Manager

Knowledge of the accounting software SAGA Knowledge of institutional donors guidelines Knowledge of the project management cycle and tools Ability to operate effectively in a stressful environment Ability to organize and prioritize tasks Flexible and adaptable  Detailed Responsibilities &Tasks: Responsibility #1:  Financial and budget management Consolidate and check the allocation boards Prepare, monitor and revise the mission’s financial programmingComplete the consolidation of monthly budget follow up and ensure that the mission remains financially stable. Make connections between budgetary consumption and activity progress. Propose solutions if necessary Monitor the mission’s operating costs Train the mission’s senior staff in how to use the budget follow-up Prepare and assist with possible audits or inspections Prepare and consolidate the financial sections of proposals Integrate the new donor contracts into the financial management of the mission’s projects, adhering to CIL’s procedures Responsibility #2: Administrative management of the mission Consolidate partnership contracts with local partners and ensure that they are followed and complied with Supervise paper and digital record-keeping, as well as ensuring the security of administrative documents in collaboration with the fundraiser / grants advisor Supervise the quarterly mailing of administrative archives to headquarters after validation of the DCD-PS Responsibility #3: Reporting / Communication Ensure regular financial reporting to headquarters in collaboration with the DCD-PS, on a schedule defined by the administrative calendar Produce financial reports and annual operations plan that are in line with financial donors’ administrative procedures Take part in meetings relating to administrative aspects, grants opening and closing meetings, represent CIL when asked/delegated to do so.  Responsibility #4: Team Work Work with HR Officer and DCD-PS to define financial personnel needs and recruit according to allocated resources and CIL’s operational strategy Coordinate, plan and supervise the activities of the financial team
