Volunteer to Support Fundraising & Grants Coordinator
Competencies
Knowledge of various types of donors (institutional, foundations, private individuals, etc.)
Strong track record of successful proposal development, including complex large proposals
Excellent writing and editing skills
Ability and experience working under pressure, with tight deadlines and by managing multiple tasks, and to be flexible.
Good knowledge of the Syrian crisis and/or Lebanon context
Ability and experience working independently and seeking support when needed.
Education background related to implementation of programs in humanitarian contexts.
Detailed Responsibilities & Tasks:
Under the direct supervision of Fundraising & Grants Coordinator assist technical team in drafting proposals, success stories and case studies.
Conduct word processing and initial review of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Contribute to compiling donor information and mapping of stakeholders.
Support in comprehensive grant filing and creating systems for archiving grants documentation
Assist Communications Manager during events/communication when necessary
Other tasks as assigned by the Fundraising and Grants Coordinator
Experience required:
2-5 to years
Education degree: Bachelor Degree Field of education: Bachelor Degree – BA/S or equivalent in social science, management, international development, humanitarian studies, or other relevant field. Master’s degree is a plus
Languages
English: Very Good French: Desired
