COMMUNICATION INTERN

CARE Lebanon (CIL) is seeking an intern to work on an occasional basis with its Lebanon Country Office. Working with a small team of dedicated professionals this internship will assist the Project Managers in delivering a mix of communication needs for the organization.

This may be in the form of video, artwork adaptation of communication materials for stickers, posters, banners etc. writing of project stories, and photographs and assistance with organizing some project events if needed.

The intern is expected to work closely with the Program Team and those delegated by them.

Essential Profile of the service provider:

The intern should have the following essential skills and knowledge:

• Demonstrated experience writing stories
• Graduate qualification in a relevant discipline
• The ability to synthesize information and succinctly market what CARE International in Lebanon does for different audiences
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to communicate complex subject matter (in a written and oral form) into accessible and simple visual guidance that is accessible to audience where possible
• Experience of working with a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring effective consultation and engagement is achieved
• Fluency (written and oral) in English. Arabic an asset
