Distribution Assistant

This position aims to ensure effective, smooth and timely implementation of CARE’s Winterization project as per national standard operation procedures, donor agreement and CARE guidelines, under the supervision of the Distribution Officer Detailed Responsibilities & Tasks: Responsibility # 1:   Activities Implementation Participate in the development of implementation strategies, tools, and work plans. Participate in organizing and lead NFI distribution events. Ensure proper documentation of the NFI distribution events (signed beneficiary lists, NFI inventory updated, checking quantities of the items, etc….). Respect the design (activity chart) and required methodology of the works. Follow the security rules to ensure security on-site. Responsibility # 2: Communication & Follow-up Support accountability mechanisms and respond to beneficiaries queries with good knowledge of relevant information. Report orally and/or in writing to the line manager on the progress of program activities on a daily and weekly basis, according to the established reporting formats. Ensure adequate collaboration with the relevant project departments. Report immediately any delay, problem or other relevant information to the line manager and to the relevant project departments.
