The Assistant will compile the needed data from various platforms like KOBO and LINKS platform and assist in data cleaning, validation, and reporting on various projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY 1: LINKS duties (up to 50% of time)
Assisting LINKS team in data cleaning
Monitoring the data extracted from the LINKS platform
Reporting on specific indicators related to LINKS
JOB RESPONSIBILITY 2: MEAL duties (up to 50% of time)
Assisting the MEAL officer in the development of surveys on Kobo
Extracting, and cleaning extracted data from KOBO
Assisting in data compilation from various projects’ focal points
Assist in reporting on Activity Info, and IPTT
Cleaning GIS data
Assist in reach monitoring activities
Follow up on the enumerators
Skills & knowledge:
- Experience in data cleaning and reporting
- Extensive knowledge in Microsoft word and excel, Power point, and Kobo or similar data collection software.
- Extensive experience interacting with and relating to gender professionals and international stakeholders at senior level.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal relationships and networks.
- Motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative and international environment
Experience:
At least 0-1 years of relevant experience, especially at NGOs, academic organizations, standard-setting bodies, public agencies focused on humanitarian work, social sciences, and community engagement.
Academic background:
A BA in social sciences, statistics, or any other equivalent field
