Key Responsibilities
- work closely with the PM to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budget for project.
- Assist PM in designing and conducting activities with PD girls, such as focus group discussions and participatory activities.
- Coordinate and conduct project activities with beneficiaries and Project actors (Local NGOs/high schools) on the field level upon the set action plan.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports to the PM
- Update and maintain database of PDs.
- Support the PM in ensuring CARE representation in the relevant technical coordination meetings at field level and all relevant forums at the field level and vis-à-vis relevant actors and partners as relevant to the project (UN agencies, INGOs, local NGOs, community focal points, etc.).
- Support in the organization of field visits by donors, peer agencies, CARE Members, Media, etc
- Perform other duties as assigned by the PM.
Reporting
The project officer will be reporting directly to the PM.
Educational Background
Bachelor degree in public health, social science, humanitarian affairs or similar.
Proven Experience
Minimum of 1-year experience in social work especially with adolescent girls preferably in protection or education sector with an understanding of the Lebanese socio-economic context and how it affects both refugees and host communities.
Knowledge in facilitation of focus group discussions and the ability to lead on activities.
Experience and knowledge of GBV core concepts especially all activities and topics related to early marriage.
IT Skills
Familiarity with MS Office software.
Languages
Proficient in Arabic and English
