We are seeking a talented, experienced, and innovative partner with NGO and Humanitarian experience to assume the role of Regional Talent Acquisition Partner for our Middle Eastern and Northern Africa Regions. Reporting to the Director of Global Talent Acquisition, the Regional Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting and management of assigned requisitions. In this role you will be acting as a specialty recruiting and staffing expert with demonstrated ability to effectively build business relationships with assigned business groups.
Your responsibilities will include creating/maintaining a strong network of candidates for ongoing organizational needs by developing innovative sourcing initiatives and a solid pipeline of qualified candidates for various roles within MENA, including strong female candidates from the region who are capable of filling senior leadership roles.
Inclusive of sourcing, screening, and interviewing internal and external candidates you will partner with hiring managers on the selection of the successful candidates, make salary recommendations, extend offers and hire selected candidates. In this role, you will also work closely with the HR Generalist to identify and understand the needs of the business and ensure alignment on processes and expectations. You will also serve as a back-up for, and collaborate with, other members of the Talent Acquisition Team.
What you will be doing:
Aggressively and creatively source, recruit, pre-screen, assess and present top-quality candidates for hiring managers within an appropriate and consistent timeline
Partner with hiring managers to build effective sourcing and recruitment strategies, assessments, and closing approaches to manage candidate/manager expectations through a thorough understanding the business needs of each Country Office in MENA
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting. Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
Ensure hiring process is effective and efficient for the new employee and hiring managers by reviewing background checks, preparing offer letters in a timely manner, and responding to candidates not selected
Partner to co-ordinate New Hire orientation with Country Office HR Teams and the Regional Senior HR Officer
Analyze recruitment data to produce accurate recruitment reports as required/needed
Expected travel of at least 20%. *There is currently no expected travel.
What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or similar field
Proven work experience as a Recruiter (5-7 years of experience) is required
Extensive experience recruiting for roles within MENA, with proven success in full life cycle recruitment, preferably with INGOs
Experience recruiting for Humanitarian emergency roles
Must possess expertise in recruiting across geographies. Practical experience and strong networks in the Middle East, is essential
Proven success recruiting across multiple levels of an organization
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc)
Hands-on experience with recruiting software – Taleo system is an added advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
English is required. Speaking Arabic and Turkish is highly desirable
Exceptionally self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with a wide range of management styles within the Region, and build successful relationships
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and appropriately gather and analyze information
Strong decision-making skills
Experience with Social Media (Facebook, Linked-In, Twitter, etc) a plus
