CARE is implementing a capacity building and livelihood community-based agriculture project that seeks to address critical capacity gaps along targeted value chains at both the individual, communal and institutional levels This position is responsible for the outreach, implementation, follow up, and quality maintenance for the Agricultural Training activities, GHP/GMP, Food processing trainings, and GMP according to donor’s request with the support of the team.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibility #1: Field Reporting Assistance and Data Sharing
- Development of visual field level reports as and when requested
- Assist and support in online training sessions delivery in North and South Lebanon as and when requested.
- Conduct filmed and non-filmed field surveys to collect supportive data when needed for quality project reporting
- Assist in field monitoring data collection, entry, and maintenance for reporting purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization
- Follow up on research activities with corresponding partners and researchers for reporting purposes
- Assist in drafting narrative and quantitative reports as per CARE internal requirements and donor requirements.
- Ensure internal communication and data sharing on project with relevant departments.
- Attend meetings and draft minutes
- Engage in filing and archiving activities when needed
- Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to CARE and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
- Other duties as assigned.
Responsibility #2: Educational Content Assistance
- Adapt training materials for online sessions modality
- Design and develop technical material handouts, flyers and books in both hard and soft formats as well as e-format.
- Produce and edit educational short films (including voice over and captions insertion).
- Creation and management of a photos/videos library for consortium usage in support to the educational content
- Coordination with partners on access and usage of educational and supportive material
- Assist in documents’ translation as and when requested
Qualifications/ Special Skills or Knowledge
- Proven experience in Photography and Video montage
- Proven experience in designing and editing educational material
- Extensive knowledge in NGOs requirements
- Outstanding organizer and observer
- Fast learner
- Ability to work under pressure
- Motivation, commitment, devotion, and integrity
- Solution-oriented.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal relationships and networks.
Experience:
At least 1-3 years of relevant experience, especially at NGOs or academic institutions
Academic Background:
Bachelor’s degree in one or several of the following areas: Audiovisual, visual arts, graphic design or any other relevant degree
Languages:
English and/ or Arabic are the working language of CARE International in Lebanon.
Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
