Accountant

Basic Function: purpose and scope The accountant will be responsible for supervising bookkeeping and maintaining program-wide financial records according to generally accepted accounting principles. Duties performed: Maintain journal entries of wire transfers and receipts; Enter information into accounting system; Generate checks; Organize and maintain Accounting filing system; Assure accuracy of supporting documentation and entries for accounts reporting; Resolve any discrepancies or clarification for Accounting records; Maintain accurate and complete Accounting records and audit information; Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents. Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, and suppliers.
