POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Center Coordinator is responsible to oversee the operation of the center and support the project coordinator in the smooth implementation of the program.
DUTIES:
- Monitor actively the program against the target for all the center activities
- Organize a timetable of the activities for the center in close coordination with the project coordinator
- Coordinate closely with the project coordinator and field coordinator to ensure proper implementation of the activities in the center.
- Organize regular meetings with Social Workers in order to ensure the proper implementation of the scheduled work plan
- Work closely with the staff to update the work plan and schedule when needed.
- Monitor the logistical needs of the center and communicate with the logistics and procurement department to ensure the office's needs.
- Take overall responsibility of managing the data and documentation at the center and ensuring that information is correctly recorded
- Provide a monthly budget forecast for the center needs to the project coordinator and the field accountant
- Manage Petit cash (prepare, record, and maintain all Petit Cash disbursement vouchers).
- Assist and facilitate donors’ visits to the center
- Supervise and conduct performance appraisal to the staff
- Oversee the community needs assessment
- Provide constant feedback to the project coordinator (Challenges, achievements, lessons learned, …)
- Handle the payments related to activities and send required invoices and receipts to the accounting department for cash management review
- Evaluate the quality of the services provided in the center by conducting and organizing evaluations with the beneficiaries (through focus groups, …)
- Handle the payments related to center expenses (Electricity, water, etc...)
- Other tasks as assigned by the line manager
