JOB SUMMARY
The Field Coordinator will provide programmatic daily support and linkage with the field officers needed for proper implementation and follow-up.
S/he will be responsible for the smooth implementation of projects and activities, logistics, human resources, administration and security procedures on the field.
S/he will be requested also to act as a focal point for Field Officers and Training facilitator and to support in identifying vulnerable beneficiaries within the set criteria and provide them with Core life skills training: decision-making and problem-solving; critical thinking; understanding and managing oneself; managing feelings and stress; interpersonal communication and negotiation; and cooperation and teamwork.
The Field Coordinator will provide support to the department for the proper follow up and execution of ongoing projects. S/he should ensure that the projects deliverables are executed as required and in accordance to the set timetable, to the budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications) to meet the required results and donor requirements.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Close monitoring and follow up for proper implementation of the projects in hand as follows:
- Supervise and evaluate activities on the field.
- Propose and implement plans of works after discussion of strategies and approval of the project coordinator.
- Contribute to establishing and implementing operational work plans, setting clear targets and activity plans for ongoing project.
- Facilitate the implementation of the project (particularly /Training and Coaching) under the supervision of the project coordinator.
- Contribute in ongoing field assessments and data collection as required.
- Collaborate with partners and other agencies when required.
- Ensure quality implementation of project through regular visits to the training centers.
- Ensure that data is accurately collected on a daily/weekly and monthly basis.

- Participate in all coordination meetings, and prepare minutes of meeting
- Preparation of schedules with the coordinators and the project managers.
- Implement the set project plan and Achieve project deliverables in line with the project plan.
- Follow up frequently on project developments and progress to ensure compliance and proper implementation of activities.
- Conduct regular field visits to Field offices to Monitor the project progress and performance and Provide site visits and status reports on regular basis.
- Support in Implementing the livelihoods plans; focusing on 1) agriculture and agri-food; 2) construction, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), rehabilitation, and interior repairs; 3) digital and information and communication technology (ICT).
- Providing to beneficiaries Life Skills Core Training Business and serving as a mentor, coach and guide to project beneficiaries as well as develop presentations for capacity building, particularly with regards to technical issues.
- Support in Conducting Business Assessments of the selected MSMEs; and support in the operation and management plan.
- Support in Coaching the selected youth on self-employment and entrepreneurship; and assuring technical guidance relevant to socio-economic development for stakeholders.
- Overseeing the technical quality of the TVET activities; evaluating and analyzing the outcome of the results.
- Support in Conducting evaluations on the performance of socio-economic deliverables and outputs, the effect and impact of the community project on population of the targeted area and the surrounding areas.
- Conducting roundtable discussions with project stakeholders to display results in order to be rectified and advising of problems encountered.
- Assist with the development and delivery of resources for the sustainability of the project.
JOB TERMS
- Full time position-1-year duration (renewable based on performance and availability of funding)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor degree in Business Management, Engineering, Business Economics, Public Administration, or any other relevant fields
- At least 5 years of similar experience in relevant field is desirable.
- Prior Experience in providing Life Core Skills training is required.
- Experience in program development, donor compliance, monitoring, evaluating and reporting

- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, meet deadlines and work with attention to detail
- Project planning, organizing and management techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in team environment
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus
- Excellent reporting, communication and interpersonal skills
