The Field Coordinator is responsible for managing and supervising the work processes of the education social workers, field workers, and all volunteers (outreach workers, school bus monitors, distribution staff), in her/his allocated area.
Duties
Supervise and evaluate activities of the Education program and the field work
Propose and implement plans of works after discussion of strategies and approval of the Education Office Coordinator
Contribute to establishing and implementing operational work plans, setting clear targets and activity plans per school/program
Assign tasks to staff members of allocated area and provide follow up and guidance
Facilitate the implementation of the project under the supervision of the Education Office Coordinator
Ensure smooth exchange between the social and field workers and volunteers of the education program, beneficiaries, and the community
Provide technical support as needed
Contribute in ongoing field assessments and data collection and entry as required
Provide information and advice for the education team on existing education services
Collaborate with partners and other agencies when required
Liaise on a daily basis with Social and Field workers, communities, schools (focal points/supervisors, teachers etc.) to guarantee the smooth operation of the program
Lead on community outreach activities and assist in the organization and implementation and conducting focus group discussions effectively
Plan, coordinate and facilitate in distribution of learning materials including stationeries and school bags as required
Support quality implementation of the education activities through regular visits to the centers and schools
Ensure that data is accurately collected, entered, and shared on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Maintain records, reports problems or concerns to Education Office Coordinator
