POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Health Administrative Assistant is responsible for receiving and interviewing the beneficiaries in the PHCC, is in charge of administrative duties and ensures a high-quality customer service to patients.
DUTIES
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails received
- Greet and receive patients upon arrival
- Interviews patients for relevant key information
- Manage calendars to schedule medical appointments and arrange referrals
- Assist patients with initial paperwork
- Accurately updates and maintains patients' health records
- Ensure that the beneficiaries and their families are aware of the services that are offered in the center
- Participate in the preparation of the awareness sessions and any other campaign
- Record patients’ information in the computer system
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Performs any administrative duty as per the line manager’s request

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with NGO is a plus
- Experience in community health is a plus
