Logistics Officer

Basic Function: Purpose and Scope   The logistics officer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Stock control, warehouses, equipment’s inventory and the flow of goods.  The logistics officer should also ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost. Duties Performed: Monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods Manage the inventory control and maintain an electronic inventory management database Manage building and property services, ensuring that all facilities and services operate at the optimum level Manage & coordinate the day-to-day operations and activities of the warehouse ensuring effective stock Compile weekly and monthly stock movement reports Negotiate optimum advantages with suppliers & vendors, obtain quotes, prepare tenders and compile purchase documents and orders when needed Skills required: Experience in logistics, purchasing and supplies management with understanding of NGO Operations Written and spoken in English and Arabic or French. Communication Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook/Exchange and other software Ability to work under pressure, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.   2 vacancies :   -          Saida -          Sin el Fil Merci
