Meal Manager

The MEAL Manager will ensure adequate processes are implemented, tools are used to make proper managerial decision, and ensuring accountability at all levels of the organization DUTIES Review, analyze and share the results of the performance monitoring conducted to projects with the directors and head of programs Review and convey to the senior management the challenges of projects and the recommendations provided by the MEAL unit to solve them Review and share the situational monitoring reports with the program development unit   Finalize the logical frameworks established for projects Ensure that the MEAL unit is properly coordinating with all the concerned parties involved in the implementation of projects to establish MEAL plans Review the M&E methodologies proposed by the senior MEAL officer Monitor the performance and conduct of the MEAL staff members in the field and report the finding to the General Director Review the client survey reports forwarded by the senior MEAL officer and share it with the directors and head of programs Review the quarterly and final evaluation reports for projects Contribute to the development of the reporting systems employed to serve the programs   Ensure that the MEAL unit is adequately supporting project coordinators in collecting and reporting data to the donors    Review the data reported by the accountability officer and report them to the concerned parties Identify bottlenecks in procedures, practices or activities and recommend improvements     Review, and if needed, amend  the Key performance indicators established for  Caritas’ departments and units Review the reports conducted to evaluate the performance of the departments and centers Interview candidates in coordination with the HR Department Conduct the needed investigations related to sensitive cases and report them to the General director Review and amend any report conducted by the senior MEAL officer Perform other duties as required by the President or General Director of Caritas Lebanon   BUSINESS SKILLS Ability to design M&E tools, surveys, surveillance systems, and evaluations Ability to train and build capacity of others Strong interpersonal skills and managerial capacity Excellent Reporting skills Strong communication and facilitation skills and ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues and partners in a sensitive environment Strong organizational skills Excellent writing and data analytical skills Ability to undertake regular field visits and interact with different stakeholders
