JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the provision of all mental health services relevant to their scope of work; thus, they can work either/and in community settings, shelters, PHCCs, retention centers. Psychologists function within interdisciplinary teams alongside Doctors, Nurses, Social workers, Animators, Psychomotor and Speech therapists, and Psychiatrists.
DUTIES
• Manage the need assessment process with the OVs.
• Conduct regular meetings with the OV team to assess the community situation and to assess the problems and challenges to build the capacity of the OVs through training sessions.
• Provide periodic and monthly reports to the Project Coordinator & to the donor.
• Enquire about the services provided by other NGOs in the community and disseminate Caritas Lebanon services.
• Follow-up on referrals and tracking sheets.
• Ensure a daily follow-up with the OVs and report all the challenges faced or reported by the OVs to the donor.
• Follow Caritas Lebanon's operational policy and procedures.
• Respect the internal policies and procedures for example dress code, attendance, discipline, etc.
• Provide direct psychosocial support and refer internally and externally as needed, respecting confidentiality and the right of the PoC.
• Respect PoC’s confidentiality • Address needs and requests in a professional way.
• Report any incident or act that causes any harm to PoC or to others.
• Adhere to all quality standards and procedures.
• Contribute in ongoing field assessments and data collection as required.
• Collaborate with partners and other agencies when required.
• Coordinate with the M&E officer to participate in the monitoring and evaluation of the program.
• Work closely with the CM officer for referral purposes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

•Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
•Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
•BA in Social science.
•2 - 3 years of experience.
