POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Project Assistant is responsible for overseeing and managing all project procedures and facilitate the effective and successful planning, and implementation of the program activities and other tasks as assigned by the Project Coordinator.
DUTIES:
- Support the process of planning, development and implementation of the project
- Assist in the development of MEAL plans for the project.
- Assist in the narrative, financial reporting of the project.
- Attend meetings as requested in order to record minutes
- Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, bookkeeping, copying, faxing, mailing and filing related to the project, and process requests on Dynamics.
- File and retrieve project and supporting documents, records and reports related to the project
- Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries related to the project
- Support staff in assigned project‐based work
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and agency information
- Monitor the project components
- Report to the Project Coordinator on a daily basis the targets reached, activities progress, obstacles, gaps, needs, complaints, etc.
- Present recommendations and suggest ideas in order to improve the quality of work.
- Attend donors’ meetings as requested.
- Create presentations for the meetings

- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken Arabic and English
