This position is responsible for the full implementation of the project “Sustainable Improvement of the National Health Care Network and treatment of chronically ill refugees and vulnerable Lebanese in Lebanon” that Caritas Lebanon is implementing in partnership with Caritas Germany.
The Project coordinator provides support to the team through assessment, planning, monitoring and documentation, capacity building support to implement the project in the different primary healthcare centers of Caritas Lebanon.
DUTIES
Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for the donor and the field staff
Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the donor organization
Ensure the work quality of the team through regular field visits and monitoring on data collection
Ensure a good communication, coordination and information level of each member of the team through regular team meetings
Monitor project activities and project expenditure and coordinate work with consultants in the project
Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables
Responsible for submitting activity reports, meeting minutes, and any other reports to the head of Healthcare department and the donor as required
Ensure close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners to guarantee smooth implementation of activities and achievement of results as specified in grant agreements
Trouble shoots project problems, identify and implement creative solutions in collaboration with the head of Healthcare department
Be the main focal point for M&E unit and work in close collaboration with the team
Participate in recruitment of additional staff when needed
Ensure close collaboration and coordination with the Head of programs and operations
Prepares purchase orders to procurement
Issue payment requests and submit them to the accounting department
