JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse at the PHCC is responsible for health promotion, illness prevention and treatment. He/she provides care to beneficiaries, and assists the nurse coordinator and the physicians.
DUTIES
- Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight
- Proceed with vaccination of beneficiaries
- Assist the physicians in their medical consultations
- Ensure that the beneficiaries and their families are aware of the services that are offered in the center
- Participate in the preparation of the awareness sessions and any other campaign
- Participate in school visits and activities pertaining to the school health programs
- Ensure timely, and accurate documentation of each beneficiary episode of health care
- Enter relevant data into the health information system
- Support and participate in ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement activities
- Follow and practice infection control policies and procedures
- Arrange referral of beneficiaries to other service providers
- Assist the Nurse Coordinator in any service or care

Computer Skills
Microsoft office, V. Dolphin is a plus
ACADEMIC EDUCATION
Bachelor degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with NGO is a plus
- Experience in community health is a plus
