Background:
Caritas Sector is the local entity representing Caritas Lebanon in different Regions covering the entire Lebanese territory. It is through the sectors that different services/activities are provided to the beneficiaries and local communities (Social Assistance, Development, Recreational Activities, Fundraising, Visibility…). The sectors are managed by a Bureau composed of volunteers who report directly to Caritas HQ and answer to (work in the frame of) Caritas Mission, Vision and set strategy. The sector collaborates with local church authorities and key people/resources and reports to the Sectors’ coordinator in Caritas HQ.
Objectives: The objective of the consultancy is to draw a frame of work for the 35 Sectors of Caritas Lebanon.
Deliverables: A complete handbook/user guide for the Sectors department of Caritas Lebanon
Duties:
- Outline a frame of work for the sector role, role of each member and relationship with HQ
- Define communication workflow with Sectors and other departments or stakeholders
- Define fundraising guidelines
- Define dress code for sector employees
- Define expectation of Caritas Lebanon administration and deliverables required for each sector
- Define finance and accounting process to ensure the right documentation and transparency
- Define fundraising guidelines
- Develop an induction and training plan for new members
Timeframe: 1- 12 Months depending on deliverables
